With Christmas around the corner, The Langham, Yangtze Boutique, Shanghai is lining up an array of festive dining and entertainment activities to celebrate the Season.

Christmas Eve Highlights, 24 December 2009
The festivities kick off with Christmas Eve gala dinner offers at the hotel’s three international restaurants: Ciao Dining Room, T’ang Court and Mado Izakaya. Ciao Dining Room will present a lavish 10-course dinner of traditional Mediterranean specialities at RMB888 net per person. T’ang Court’s renowned Cantonese cuisine is featured in two special menus at RMB498 net or RMB698 net per person. An all-you-can eat menu with crab delicacies highlights the offer at Mado Izakaya at RMB388 net per person.

Free flow of champagne and mulled wine will be served in a cocktail reception to precede the gala dinner which will also feature live entertainment, door prizes and a raffle draw. Tickets are available for sale at the outlets starting 16 November.

Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve Highlights, 25 and 31 December 2009
On Christmas Day and New Year’s Eve, special menus especially created by the hotel’s international culinary team will be offered at Ciao Dining Room at RMB588 net per person; T’ang Court at RMB388 net or RMB588 net per person and Mado Izakaya at RMB288 net per person.

New Year’s Eve Countdown Party, 31 December 2009
Reliving its reputation as the most popular social venue in Shanghai during the 1930s, the hotel lobby comes alive on 31 December with dance, music and live entertainment. Revellers may usher in 2010 with free flow of wine, beer, soft drink, canapés and a glass of champagne against a background of old Shanghai jazz tunes and participate in the raffle draw for a chance to take home fantastic prizes.

Ticket is priced at RMB228 net per person (or GBP20.10 net) and will be available for sale at Palm Court and The Bar during operation hours starting 16 November 2009.

Christmas Cake Order
Tempting and innovative Christmas Cakes specially created by Pastry Chef Kent are available for sale between 10 and 30 December 2009. Priced at RMB188 net each, the cakes will be available until 3.00 pm on 30 December.
